Made up by four uniquely vibrant communities, Georgia’s Lake Country is unified by lifestyle. When you’re in GLC, you slow down and soak it in. Our goal was to communicate and showcase the many attractions Georgia’s Lake Country has to offer through fresh branding and a new website.

Georgia’s Lake Country is a cooperative marketing alliance formed for the purpose of promoting travel and tourism to Lake Oconee and Lake Sinclair as well as the surrounding communities.

Our partners at GLC approached us with the need to reinvigorate their website in order to better align with their overall marketing goals. GLC’s upgraded digital presence needed to present an elevated user experience along with added excitement to keep visitors navigating for longer periods of time, and the Content Management System needed to be easier to edit and update. After exploring the region and brainstorming with the GLC community leaders, we were able to construct a plan of action that would set GLC up for success.

Through our research, we discovered that Georgia’s Lake Country was unified by lifestyle. Whether you’re a resident or a weekend visitor, when you’re in GLC, you slow down and soak in every facet of luxury lake life and historical, small-town charm that Lake Country has to offer.

Our process began with creating a new visual identity and a corresponding visual brand essentials guide for the Georgia’s Lake Country brand. Strong design is the foundational start to any marketing project, and we wouldn’t want to deliver anything less to our partners at GLC.

GLC banded together to provide us with content that highlights each area’s unique offerings. We combined that with eye-catching design, user-friendly functionality, clean layouts, and a simple backend to present Georgia’s Lake Country with the digital experience they needed in order to reach their marketing goals.

Since launching GALakeCountry.com, our partners have seen a significant increase in direct web traffic along with an increase of sessions, page views, and time spent on individual community websites.
