The Details

We had the honor of partnering with the Augusta Convention and Visitors Bureau to visually craft a landmark and destination focused walking tour. This journey features the life and impact of Augusta’s most famous son, James Brown.

The Challenge

Kruhu was tasked with designing unique markers for each of the 12 landmarks along the James Brown Journey. These pieces would explore the impact of Mr. Brown’s life and career in Augusta along with his resounding influence on music around the world. A companion guide was also an essential component. This guide would help travelers navigate their trip and provides an expanded narrative and experience.

The Result

We’re proud to say Augusta now has a LongPlay of 12 stunning visual 45” markers that track through the life and legacy of the Hardest Working Man in Show Business. Qué pasa, people, Hit me!

Within a month, the James Brown Journey had over 20,000 impressions on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn. The tour was also featured in Georgia Trend Magazine and the Atlanta Journal Constitution’s travel guide section as a suggested road trip.
